Glitz and glam, the city of Vegas. Sex and gambling, what more can you ask for?
Rick Santos is an FBI agent who's not afraid to bend the rules. He smokes too much, drinks to much, and chases anything in a skirt, but he's efficent. One of the best.
He gets sent out to Vegas to bust Ian Cifra, a low-level mobster who's a million in debt to the mob-if Rick doesn't get him, his own "family" will.
Things get messy when Veronica Campbell enters. She's absolutely gorgeous and blows Rick away-something he's not used to. What he doesn't know is that she's quite adapt at playing both sides against the middle and the FBI isn't her only job.
Try as he might, and with scolding and witty repartee on the part of the third person working the case, Fred Simmons, a rather dishelved local cop who although he doesn't look it, or even much act like it, knows how to get the job done, Rick falls for Veronica, and hard, only to have all of the "would-have-beens" and "could-have-beens" shattered when Veronica's double life catches up to her.
