A conflict for freedom in zero gravity.
His daily chores done, common streetsweep Idax is rudely awoken from his compliant stupor, when the infamous Skyjackers destroy his lobotomy booth.
He is unleashed into a world above the clouds, where the skysweeps shelter their telekinetic siblings, the SkyJackers, powerful young men and women who skim the edge of the sky. Free of the L booths, designed to repress any newly evolved mental abilities, the SkyJackers hone their skills within the immense orbiting atmos-pylons that the skysweeps maintain.
Idax is overwhelmed by the power and grace of the Skyjackers. Especially Hela, their formidable and impulsive leader, considered a living goddess by the skysweeps.
Impressed by Idax’s latent mental power, Hela trains him in return for his help to free the brain-dead streetsweeps below, to give themselves and the sweeps a new future on the surface.
But, hidden deep inside the dark earth, renegade Skyjacker Cryon and her army of airborne Controllers have other ideas.
