Chupacabra

In 1989 Hurricane Hugo decimated a large portion of the El Yunque rainforest on Puerto Rico

Not only was damage done to the rainforest and surrounding village’s it also damaged a secret government installation on the island believed to be a research facility.

The date of the first sightings of the Chupacabra coincides with this date the theory being that they were a hybrid creature or remnants of an alien race abandoned on this planet.

The story starts in 1989 as the facility prepares for Hurricane Hugo moving on to the creature’s escape.
