Based on the H.G. Welle tale "The STory of the Late Mr. Elvesham," a young man is offered a chance to become wealthy and leave his struggles behind by an aged benefactor. The young man must take the old man's name in order to solidify the deal. After being offered an exotic potion, the young man finds that he has changed bodies with Elvesham and rushes deperately to see if a reverse transformation is possible before his failing body expires.
