"Soup is Good Food" is about Herbert Wallace, a recent graduate from dental school. Herbert's life was going just fine, a new dental practice, a beautiful fiancé. Just fine indeed, that is, until gorgeous and exotic Lethi Maria Meneses, a 19-year-old Nicaraguan girl with whom he'd had a one-night-stand almost two years prior, shows up unannounced at his office. When she introduces he and his parents to their supposed son, Herbert's life is turned upside down. "Soup is Good Food" is full of hilarious predicaments and twists finally ending in a chase scene trailed by the Nicaraguan militia at gunpoint through downtown Detroit. Herbert's clueless southern-born parents remain mostly unaware of his plight, being totally wrapped-up in their own eccentricities such as their new soup diet. (Copyrighted, WGA 838296)

"Soup is Good Food" is similar in style to such films as There's Something About Mary and Raising Arizona.
