This "historical romance" assumes that Villa did
not raid the town of Columbus and that the president of Mexico and Woodrow Wilson were in collusion to destroy Villa's power in Northern Mexico. The United State send Blackjack Pershing to chase the bandit, mostly to try out new military hardware for the upcoming European war and to send a message to the Germans who are trying to establish a military foothold in Mexico. Villa outfoxes his enemies, but is later assassinated.
